Ginkgo Leaf Marquetry Buffets

Materials:

Claro Walnut and Curly Sycamore, Cherry and Bird’s Eye Maple.  Both with various marquetry woods.

Description:

A pair of marquetry cabinets featuring marquetry imagery of Ginkgo leaves flowing through the four seasons as they wander across the cabinets.  These two cabinets were built as a Spring and Fall pair to showcase how different wood selections can alter the look and feel of a piece of furniture.  With identical marquetry on both pieces the only difference comes from the primary and background wood selections.  I have a favorite of the two but they both turned out interesting.
